the day dawns darkly, and i am alone
the days goes forward, but no one is home
the day is so endless, yet still drags on
the day is over, and you are still gone
tonite it is quiet, nothing to say
tomorrow will arrive, as just another day
the cycle repeats, and never takes pause
i sit and think of you, but to what cause
the days have gone by, and the loneliness lingers
i make some coffee, and stare at my fingers
the cuts are tiny, so you can barely notice
but the pain is still here, and i hardly can focus
you can wonder and worry, yet never will know
when your soul is ripped out, the blood still must flow
each day you walk in the light, but your heart is just ashes
so to make it bearable, you create some more gashes

I wrote this for a little girl that had a whole world of anger and
pain. She cut, and tried to explain why. I don't think anyone really
listens though.... |

"I don't think anyone really listens though...."
Some of us do Ariana. Some of us do...
But sometimes it can be very hard to find someone that will. |
