In Darkness
Love was cruel to him. The world had shunned him. He only found warmth in despair and misery. Yet the gods within the Darkness weave a tale of their own for this victim of love.
Rebirth is on the horizon. Life may yet continue under the smiling face of the darkness. Yet it’ll demand a price…

I was immediately drawn into the story with it's dark, disturbing cinematography, the classically stark, moody music and the sound effects.
The deep, smooth voice of the narrator, set a wicked stage of abuse, misery and despair. I nervously waited for the moment of release. The moment death would free him from this tenuous perch. Or, perhaps he may find a different way out and seek revenge. I was hoping and waiting for a creative climax.
It appeared to be coming after the special effects, the multitude of eyeballs and the twisted voice speaking in Latin (I believe) appeared on the scene. Oh, this was getting exciting now! Through all of the pain, torment and insanity he found himself transformed by hatred into Vorenus the GodKing.
However, the transition that came next left me confused by the stylistic departure from the first section of the film. I understood the character references, but artistically the segment didn't seem to flow well for me. The Samael of the Godhand and Lethloria of the Godhand interlude felt out of place. The story line did manage to find it's way back to Vorenus, but still left me kind of cold.
I see where Cerritos was going and applaud him for the elements that he did well, the music, the editing and the cinematography. As an indy film maker, I think Steven Cerritos shows a lot of potential.
Enity Films was founded in 2004 by Steven Cerritos and Alberto Martinez. Their name, ENITY, was derived from the words identity and entity.
Initially, Enity Films started off with the release of the short film Cerritosis. Their first film had a successful run with the film festival circuit. Cerritosis is a short film in Japanese with English subtitles. It's about a man named Roach Far, a self-proclaimed freak suffering from the rare disease Cerritosis. This deadly disease causes hallucinations, schizophrenia and paranoia. Roach Far is at the peak of his madness, at the peak of his disturbing visions.
In a world without hope, in a world void of any logic, how does one fend off chaos? Welcome to the mind of Cerritosis.
