Release your feelings of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity in April's quirky contest. Share your tale or imagery of angst and you could win! Entries must be received by Saturday, April 26th by midnight. |
Over the next few months we will be giving away some of
the most interesting and provocative works from
best selling author Philip Gardiner.
Watch the You-Tube trailers to gain insight about what these provocative DVDs are all about. Once you have witnessed a glimpse of the mysteries that will be revealed to the winners...proceed to discover how you could win a copy of your very own.

So, now that you know what's up for grabs...the question is how can you win something...here's how it works: We now have 13 items to give away. Two each of the remaining DVDs and one each of the book and PDF magazine. There will be opportunities for writers, photographers and artists to win over the next several months.

There are NOW SIX chances to win in April for both writers and artists and photographers. Share your tale or imagery of angst and you could win! Entries must be received by Saturday, April 26th by midnight.
Writing Category: Written submissions need to be less than 1,000 words and relate to the theme "Angst". It may be prose, a poem, fiction or non-fiction. But, it has to strongly convey a sense of angst as defined by Merriman-Webster as: a feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity {for example: teenage angst}.

Image Category: Art and photography images need to convey or depict the theme "Angst". Images may contain artistic nudity...but must be tasteful. (If you have to have "tasteful nudity" defined, it's probably something you shouldn't post. But, feel free to ask if you want to make sure ;-)
Post entries for the Art/Photography Category to the April Angst Contest Gallery
Entries must be received by Saturday, April 26th, by midnight.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 30th...sometime before midnight.

8) And now...the moment we've been waiting for...
THE WINNERS OF THE MARCH'S SECRET MISCHIEF CONTEST ARE:
1. SndCastie - Winner of the Limmerick Category with:
There once was a gal named Sue
Who had a secret or two
She had to be careful
or she would be Dareful
and could be in harm it is true.
All the limmericks were lovely. However, SndCastie's entry was selected as it followed the limmerick format, had the secret element, and an added bit of mischief with the Dareful line.

All entries were cool. But, this entry was chosen as the winner with the use of the hand-behind-the-back trick, which lent itself well to the theme of "secret". And the little girl looked very mischievious!
