 | The Full Moon Report - Harvest Moon This marks the September Harvest Moon, and the seventh edition of the Full Moon Report. This report was published after the moon, as I spent that night preparing my Herbal Tonic, an old herbal remedy, in preparation for the coming winter months. This natural antibiotic is the best natural cure that I have ever tried and I completely swear by it. |
The Full Moon Report - Harvest Moon
This marks the September Harvest Moon, and the seventh edition of the Full Moon Report. This report was published after the moon, as I spent that night preparing Herbal Tonic in preparation for the coming winter months.
So now we are at the time of the "Harvest Moon", the time of harvest has arrived. A time to reap the rewards, or consequences, of our actions and efforts from the past year.
In addition to being called the Harvest Moon, this moon time also carries the names: Violet Moon, Amethyst Moon, Barley Moon, Brown Bear Moon, Turtle Clan Moon, Wine Moon, Singing Moon, Elk Call Moon, Fruit Moon (if in September), or Hunter's Moon (if it falls in October).
The Harvest Moon is low in the sky and appears very large and bright. This was the time when the final fruits and grains were brought in before the first frost of the fall. Many cultures have feasts, gatherings, parties, and rituals to celebrate the Harvest Moon.
This year I spent the Harvest Moon brewing up a big batch of Herbal Tonic in preparation for the coming winter months. I was given a recipe almost 10 years ago, from an elder witch to save me from a nasty bout of bronchitis. It worked like a charm. I've been making it for myself, friends and family ever since. If you need information about Herbal Tonic, also called Super Tonic, send me an email LilyHawk@gothicblend.net.
We hope you have a bountiful harvest! Enjoy the fruits of your labor and go out and "HOWL AT THE MOON".
